Angels and Weathermen Live Video
Tue May 4, 10:13 AMThe Mommyheads reunited in 2008 to perform at a memorial for original drummer Jan Kotik.
This low-fi recording of the band performing “Angels and Weathermen,” from the 2008 CD You’re Not A Dream (Bladen County), complete with a cameo from a cellphone, serves as a fantastic representation of The Mommyheads’ tremendous songwriting, Beatlesque melodies, and groovy funk.
In case we haven’t said it enough, Flying Suit is on the way. We couldn’t be more thrilled to be able to give this record back to you after all these years.

Right around the same time we got bit by the indie bug here at Dromedary Rev. 2.0, Cuppa Joe’s primary songwriter Doug Larkin began writing and recording a new batch of songs as well. A year later, after relocating back to New Jersey, he teamed up with drummer Steve Spatucci for the band’s first album in more than a decade. Coming this February!
